A repository's code goes from GitHub directly to the scanner without passing through the browser, streams into the scanner’s temporary memory, and is never written to disk; the clone used for charting fetches commit metadata only — no file contents — and the scan stops rather than continues if a single file blob reaches disk. 


Nothing about a private scan is kept or left behind: no cached clone, no cached scores, no name, no score, no report.


The only stored element is your GitHub token, encrypted, until you disconnect — you choose which repositories the app may read, and disconnecting, or revoking on GitHub, ends that.
